Pohanka Honda of Fredericksburg Rocks!

So I haven’t posted in quite a while mostly just out of laziness.  Since my last post we finally got our White Civic Hybrid with Navigation from Pohanka Honda of Fredericksburg for the exactu UBS price.  We dealt with Bill Hamilton who was very friendly and helpful.  We ended up waiting about 4 weeks for the car to come in after putting a deposit down.  Here is how the entire experience went:

1. I called around to all of the Honda dealers in the DC area (with no luck) and then expanded out to Fredicksburg
2. When I called the Pohanka Honda dealer in Fredicksburg I talked to Joseph Petrone who was the internet sales manager at the time.
3. During the first phone call I just asked if they had a White Civic Hybrid with Nav and he said no but he will check with his sales manager to see if they could get one from another dealer or order one and he would get back to me
4. He sent me a follow up email the same day to see if I wanted to come down to talk more about the car
5. I responded and said that I found out about the UBS program through my work and if he would be willing to give me the UBS price I would come down the same day.
6. He responded and said he could offer UBS price and sent me a detailed outline of what I would pay with processing fee, taxes and tags, so a complete out the door price in an email with the UBS price.  I was pretty shocked.
7. So I called him back the same day and said he had a deal and asked if I should come down. He said there was no need for me to come all that way and that he could take a deposit over the phone.  I gave him my CC info and that was it.  (and they actually never ended up charging my credit card the deposit)
8. They first tried to get the car from another dealer in the area but that didn’t work so then they ordered it and said it would be on their next shipment toward the end of June (this all started at the end of May by the way)
9. Joseph had excellent communication during the wait time and about half way through he left to start a Hockey business and Bill Hamilton took over.  He also had very good communication.
10. On July 3rd Bill called and said our car had arrived so the next day my wife and I drove down to pick it up.
11. At the dealership they didn’t give us any hassel at all and still honored the UBS price Joseph gave us, and gave us a decent trade amount for our old car, and gave us 2.9% financing. Also free wheel locks and trunk liner! 
12. So in short I am very satisfied with Pohanka Honda of Fredericksburg and highly reccomend them.  You can see my other post about the evil Browns Arlington Honda.
