Kids in the DC Hall

Our good friend Klaas VanDerWey got us tickets to see Kids In The Hall for our Christmas present this year.  If you don’t know what Kids In The Hall, they are a Canadian comedy group that used to have a show originally on HBO and then on Comedy Central a number of years ago.  Their most famous skit was the “I’m squishing you head” guy, but my personal favorite was “girl drink drunk.”  Anyway, the show was at the Warner Theatre in downtown DC on Saturday (5/3) and it was actually pretty good. They had all the original members of the group and the show looked sold out.  Most of the skits were pretty funny but pretty racy.  They covered religious jokes, gay jokes, antisemitic jokes, political jokes, abortion jokes, sex jokes, etc… so not so much family friendly. (not exactly surprising if you know Kids in the Hall) But overall I’d definitely recommend seeing them.
