I go back to the 3 pillars of saving the environment, reduce, reuse and recycle and it seems like this program is forgetting about the reuse and recycle parts. And while its supposed to be about reduce its only about reducing fuel consumption, not reducing the number of vehicles or the use of materials for car production. I personally think it would be better for the environment if people would stop buying new cars when they don’t need them. They should use the cars they have as long as they can whether it has bad gas milage or not.
